How Do I Prepare It?
Place in Blue Bin
- Cans: Aluminum and Steel, this includes beverage containers and canned food containers. Please rinse.
- Plastics 1 & 2, this includes detergent bottles, soap and shampoo bottles, milk, juice, and drink bottles. Remove lids and rinse containers.
- Glass bottles and jars, all colors accepted. Remove lids and rinse containers.
Place in Blue Bin with Lid
- Newspaper and inserts
- Magazines
- Computer paper and shredded paper (place shredded paper in a paper or plastic bag with top closed)
- Junk mail
- Cereal boxes
- Toliet and papertowel rolls
- Soda or beer cartons
- Wrapping paper
- Egg Cartons (not styrofoam)
- Corrugated Cardboard (broken down flat), if cardboard is too big for container place it underneath container on pickup day.
- Secure the lid on the bin for pickup day.
- Remove and discard all caps.
- Rinse all bottles and cans.
- Flatten plastic jugs and plastic soda bottles.
- Secure the lid on the bin with paper.
